COVID 19 - Parish Response Information

Our Mask Policy:
Due to the projected spike in new Covid cases, we are now requiring masks be worn while in the Church. The ushers will be instructed to make sure everyone is wearing a mask while attending Mass. Please help to keep everyone safe and help to avoid another shutdown. If you do not want to wear a mask for yourself, please wear one to help protect your parish family members!

Adoration has resumed in the main church. Exposition will be held Monday thru Friday from 10 am to 8 pm. Masks MUST be worn. The restrictions for church attendance such as social distancing will apply. To assist with church sanitizing we are designating the front 3 pews for this devotion. "O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament divine, all praise and all thanksgiving, be every moment thine."

The faithful continue to be dispensed by the Archbishop from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation until further notice. Although the obligation is dispensed, please keep the Lord’s Day with prayer and reflection, along with the possible viewing of a live streamed celebration of Mass. Those who are sick or compromised due to health conditions are not to come to church.

Masses have resumed following CDC and Archdiocesan guidelines. Sunday Masses will be held on on our normal weekend Mass schedule.

Social distancing seating and face coverings ARE required.

Ushers will be available to assist and direct:
Every other pew will be blocked off
Families can sit together (preferably on the left or right pews)
Everyone else must sit 6 feet apart
Ushers must wear gloves during collection
The Communion pattern will be altered – Follow the direction from the ushers.
The church will be wiped down after each mass.
We also ask that you please not congregate in the Church after Mass.

The Rectory office will be open Monday through Friday from 9am until 4pm. All other times will be by appointment only. For your protection, and the protection of the staff, we ask that all persons over the age of 2 wear a mask while in the rectory. Community Emergency Fund
The COVID-19 Pandemic has affected us all in one way or another – some more seriously than others. For some, the effects are limited to disruptions in our daily routines. Still others are worried about how they will be able to put food on their tables. To help address these more serious issues, St. Ignatius Parish has established a Community Emergency Fund.
