Altar Servers perform an important role during the Mass by assisting the Priest as he celebrates the liturgy. This role can be an excellent opportunity to strengthen the spiritual formation of our youth. All children in grades 5-12 are welcome to assist at the altar after receiving the required training.

Ministers of Hospitality are the official hosts who welcome us into our Father’s house. They set the atmosphere in order to help us experience the presence of God. Also, they collect the people’s gifts of money for parish needs.
The Lector proclaims the Word of God (the readings that precede the Gospel) and may announce the general intercessions in the absence of a Deacon.

The purpose is to nourish an all-embracing program of celebration for the benefit of the parish family; to sponsor training sessions for liturgical ministers and to plan liturgies for special occasions and seasons.
Choir (Adult, Children):
The choir adds beauty and solemnity to the Liturgy and assists and encourages the singing of the congregation.
The Adult Choir sings at various masses and special occasions. Please contact Lee for more information.
The Children’s Choir is scheduled to sing at the 4:00 Christmas Vigil mass with more masses potentially in the future.
The group assists the congregation in worship, with music and song in contemporary style. The Folk Group practices from 8:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday evenings and sings at the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass about 3 times per month and also at special occasions.
Cantors are members of the choir who have shown advanced proficiency in reading music and singing. The Cantor is also a leader of song: not as a soloist, but by leading the assembly in song.
